Typhoon Stock Control is a configurable software package that allows
you to manage your stock efficiently, bringing the following benefits:

PC Software
The PC software can be used on PC’s, Laptops and Tablets. It allows
users to:
- Book Items In
- Book Items Out
- Adjust Stock Levels
- View Reports
Some organisations want to record a bit more than just that something
is booked in or out. The software can be configured to handle things
such as:
- Record which customer goods are booked out to
- Record which customer goods are booked out to
- Allow you to record multiple reasons for items being booked out.
e.g. “Sale”, “Transfer to HQ” etc.
- Cater for multiple reasons why goods are
booked in e.g. “New Goods, ”Transfer from HQ”, “Return” etc.
- Where you use multiple reasons for booking in or out the reports
will show each option separately as well as the totals.

Reports
Any report can be exported to a Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel or
Rich Text file, which enables you to Email reports or to use the data
for other applications.
In addition search, print and magnify facilities are provided:

- Low Stock
- Stock Valuation
- Adjustments
- Booked In
- Booked Out
- Sales by Customer
- Audit Trail
- VAT
When running reports you can specify dates. So for example you can
look at sales between 1st Jan2005 and 31st March 2006.

Single and Multi User
The software can handle up to 100 users at the same time. Each user
is given a User Name and Password and you can set up which functions and
reports they have access to. That way each person only sees the options
they need, making the software easier to use and more secure. |

Stock Watch
Managers who like to have their fingers on the pulse of their
business will love Stock Watch.
This is a real time reporting system that provides you with key
information that is updated every 10 seconds, so you can see things as
they happen:
- Items and Value Booked Out

- Current Stock Levels and Stock Valuation
- Low Stock Items
You may drill down further to follow a particular user or product

The software is very easy to use, even for staff that are not
experienced computer users. Each user is set up so they only see the
options they need for their job. This removes unnecessary options
from the screen making it quicker and easier to use.

Stock Counts
With a good stock control system in place, the number of stock counts
you need to do should go down dramatically. Even so occasionally items
might be misplaced or go missing.
The mobile computer software allows one or multiple people to count
stock and feed the information back into a PC. The data is then analysed
and any possible mistakes are highlighted to you (product counted more
than once, item not counted) allowing you to make changes before
updating the stock levels. |

Mobile Computer Software
In many environments you may want to book items in and out, away
from the nearest PC. Therefore we included mobile computer software
that enables you to book items in and out anywhere and feed the data
into a PC later on (or immediately if using a Wireless LAN). The PC
will update the system as soon as it receives the data.
Barcode scanning is supported on most units with a keyboard wedge
based barcode reader. Just as in the PC software, you can book items
in and out without a barcode scanner, simply by selecting the item
from a table. Today, there is a wide range of mobile computers.
There are low cost non rugged devices such as the Ipaq as well as
highly rugged units. You can even a barcode scanning module to most
standard PDA’s.

Use of Barcodes
If you do not have barcodes, it is not a problem as the software
can be used without them.
No Barcodes - you can select a
product from a table and search for it by its product code,
description, supplier or category.
Products with Barcodes – these can
be quickly scanned into and out of stock using a low cost barcode
reader.
Barcode Printing – The inbuilt
barcode printing function allows you to print barcodes for products
that don’t have them. You can enter your own barcode number for a
product. When you are booking the item in, you click on the print
barcode button, enter the quantity of labels, print them and stick
them onto the items. This then enables you to book them in and out
very quickly, by just scanning the barcode.
The software will print a barcode on most printers, including
Laser and Inkjet printers. In mot cases it is more convenient and
cost effective to use a specialist barcode label printer. These are
now very low in cost.
